What a tragic decision on the part of CH Wagoner as he chose to lend support to something that the Bible clearly says is wrong. Does CH Wagoner also choose to ignore all the sins listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11? When an adulterer comes to him for marriage counseling, does he offer to go with the person and watch. Does he tell the spouse that they shouldn't be upset about the betrayal since he/she is only doing what is natural?Or when an abusive person comes to him, does he offer techniques and tells him that these scriptures were just for people long ago and not for today? Verses 9 and 10 are very convicting to all people as it list every sin imaginable, notably putting adultery and fornication first. CH Wagoner has failed his commitment to God and God's Word, his ordination, his pledge to the Southern Baptist Convention and the people he represents.

Makes me sick to my stomach to think a chaplain would watch, much less wax eloquently as two dudes declare that their lust will last.

My, oh my. What in the world? I do get his point. I think undeniable, visible support--especially in military settings--cannot be overestimated. Hence, if the good Col. Wagoner would have been perceived as non-supportive for not attending, it seems to stand up to moral reason why he would show up.

Even so, I'm wondering now what will now happen to Col. Wagoner. Will we pull his credentials? Though I don't know the detailed process for chaplains being commissioned, if I had to guess, I think pulling his credentials might be tried.

Grace, Aaron.

With that, I am...
