Yes, the Catholic Church opposes the death penalty, and most SBCs support it; interesting, the 10 Commandments say "thou shalt not kill." These are reaffirmed in the gospels; yet, the SBC feels it can be flexible. I see- the SBC follows the Bible when it suits them. More and more people are seeing the SBC and the BACs for what they are--dangerous, hate-filled, fear mongerers.
