Saying that church members “hole” a variety of opinions on the Bible’s teaching on homosexuality is, I hope, merely a case of bad spelling, which I agree equates with slander.

I’m also chuckling as I think about the odd fact that my wife and I have our church directory picture appointment tomorrow night at 9:20! I need to make sure our church is settled on how to handle the pictures of all our families.

I guess when we simple folks just take the Bible as meaning what it clearly says, we don’t get to have business meetings for anything so juicy as Broadway.

If Broadway accepts practicing gays as members, why not put them in the directory? If it's OK, it's OK. If it's not, it's not. Why the hesitation? They can talk and make recommendations until Jesus comes back, but at the end of the day there will never be consensus. It's either right or wrong. You don't think that, in the back of their proverbial mind, there is some doubt as to the wisdom of accepting practicing gays as members, do you?
