Hinson was indeed a hated man during the Fundamentalist Takeover.
In 2001, the William Whitsitt Baptist Heritage Society awarded Dr. Hinson with their annual Courage Award. Get some Baptist Education and check Michael’s post out.
Thanks for the plug not only for Hinson, but my mentors series.
