Big Daddy:
Thanks for commenting on my blog today. Hope you can find your way there at least twice a week, and remember to comment in the Collinsville Baptist post as it is more germane to our conversation than the fight with words post.
I have just posted on our mutual hero, Prescott Mstrm Baptist blog. I invited you to go there for the latest on Nancy Ammerman and different takes on it all.
You and Prescott bring it to my blog in the next several weeks if you can, as I need all the help I can get showing the flag, fighting the good fight in Collinsville, in what could be it's final tipping point.
Sfox
Collinsville, Alabama

Big Daddy:
Also since you are thick there in Academia, float the assertion there were no liberals in Baptist academia in the 60's and 70's.
I understand Bill Leonard of Wake Forest to say yes indeed there were, while other moderate Baptist phd's see it never was the case.
What does Hankins think about that one?
Also you and the author of Red and Blue God may want to check on the chat two weeks ago at www.faithinpubliclife.org with Randall Balmer about the very themes of her book.
If you are in contact with her, remind her as well as Ben Cole of the chapter in Joe Ferguson's 80's bio of Jesse Helms, the man Pressler and Richard Land gave an award to in 88, remind them there is a chapter in Joe's book, the Red White and Blue Bible.
Sfox
alabama

Big Daddy:
Need you to inteface, intersect, join the discussion, engage the debate at my blog entry on local church discussion. I will need you to interview Becky Kennedy out there in Waco a product of the local church in question. Using your experience in Soperton, hope to advance the discussion here in NE alabama.
Fascinating case study on how the takeover is playing at grassroots....sfox
